Well, I went out last night (to Ward Lake) and met up with Dolly (Varden). We had a great time and I went back there this am with a coworker (Damon) and hit some of the same spots that I fished last weekend.
Last night the fish were rising and I missed a nice one with a leech pattern at the outlet, but the access was hard, so I moved over to the inlet where another angler and his 3 kids were fishing. They were getting into fish and were kind enough to share. So side-by-side we casted and caught. I only landed two fish, both Dolly Vardens, but at about 14 inches each, gave me a nice fight.
This morning's outing was GREAT! I landed another nice Dolly and then 8 rainbows. Three were 15 inches and just as bright and beautiful as you could imagine. Sorry, no pics of them, but the pic above is of the Dolly. I'm out again tomorrow, so fish beware.
